Russia: Putin and Sisi pose for group photo with African leaders

Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi posed for a group photo alongside other participants at the first ever Russia-Africa summit in Sochi on Thursday.

Putin and Sisi, who are chairing the summit, were seen standing side by side, surrounded by other countries’ leaders, including those of Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana and South Africa.

The two-day Russia-Africa summit brings together over 3,000 guests, including 44 presidents and prime ministers of African nations.
