Typhoon Krosa kills one, injures more than 30 in western Japan

태풍 ‘크로사’ 日 관통 후 북상…1명 사망•30여명 부상

Typhoon Krosa ripped through western Japan on Thursday, leaving one person dead and over 30 people injured.
The season’s 10th typhoon made landfall near Hiroshima Prefecture around 3 p.m. and proceeded north to the East Sea.
As of midnight Thursday, it was moving at a speed of 35 kilometers an hour.
Over 7-thousand residents were evacuated and over eight-hundred flights were delayed or cancelled.
After crossing western Japan, the typhoon’s expected to be downgraded by early Saturday.
